Sodium acetate anhydrous is used in the food industry as a preservative, acidity regulator and flavour enhancer. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry as a buffer solution and in infusion solutions, and in the chemical industry as a catalyst and intermediate. The product can also be used for low-corrosion de-icer formulations.
